During the Qing dynasty, each noble family had a courtyard in the center of their homes. In the brilliant mornings of the Qing dynasty, graceful and noble maidens would peer out of their chambers and stroll amidst the blooming flowers in their courtyards. This collection features designs directly inspired by the costumes and backdrop of Shen Yun’s dance Courtyard Elegance.
