Celebrating Shen Yun’s 20th Anniversary at the New Middletown Gallery Opening
On the evening of August 2nd, 2025, the New Middletown Gallery opened its doors for an unforgettable celebration marking Shen Yun’s 20th anniversary with an intimate gathering of culture, music, and magnificent artistry. It was a night that will be remembered not only for its elegance, but for the spirit of community and shared appreciation of the arts.
Our deepest gratitude goes to the beloved influencers and radiant ladies of New Century Films, whose presence brought warmth and refinement to the occasion. Their enthusiasm for the synergy of traditional arts and modern elegance filled the gallery with a rare cultural charm. The atmosphere was further enriched by live music performed on the violin and cello—gentle, resonant melodies that drifted through the space, perfectly complementing the visual masterpieces on display.

An Evening of Firsts
The reception also marked a series of firsts: the very first event honoring Shen Yun’s 20th Anniversary, the unveiling of a specially curated temporary gallery space, and the world premiere of sixteen never-before-seen Shen Yun Fine Art Prints. In an atmosphere of peacefulness and luxury, guests discovered each piece for the first time. They were drawn into scenes where celestial realms meet earthly beauty.

These sixteen fine art giclée prints, created for the anniversary collection, capture the luminous artistry of Shen Yun’s performances with breathtaking precision. Printed with advanced giclée technology on Hahnemühle Museum Etching Paper—crafted in Germany from 100% cotton and pure spring water—each piece is archival, acid-free, and designed to last in perfect condition up to 100 years. The rich texture of the paper, combined with a sophisticated nine-color pigmented ink system, preserves every detail with stunning clarity and tonal depth.

Guests were especially captivated by works such as “Heavenly Fairies of the Peach Garden” and “The Time of Salvation Begins,” which transform fleeting stage moments into timeless treasures. Shen Yun’s journey from its beginnings in 2006 as The NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular to becoming a world-renowned performing arts company has been nothing short of extraordinary. From one venue in New York City to hundreds of stages worldwide, the company has touched millions with the beauty of China before communism. These anniversary prints offer a new way for audiences to continue that connection beyond the theater.
