The Spirit of Mulan Inspiration
There is an ancient Chinese saying that loyalty to the nation and filial piety cannot coexist. Yet Mulan accomplished both, fulfilling the duty to her country and family vows. Concerned for her elderly father, Mulan dressed herself as a man and took his place in the army. She returned victorious after serving adeptly for twelve years.
